GRAMMY.com Tour Diary: The Head And The Heart
The Recording Academy Memphis Chapter recently traveled from their headquarters in Memphis, Tenn., to Nashville for a concert at the Cannery Ballroom featuring indie folk band the Head And The Heart for the inaugural installment of GRAMMY.com Tour Diary, a new series featuring intimate interviews and exclusive performances that highlight the musically enriched regions of the United States and lives of touring musicians. While on the road, the Chapter visited historical music staples including Elvis Presley’s Graceland Mansion, the Stax Museum and the legendary Sun Studio in Memphis, and the Country Music Hall of Fame, Ryman Auditorium and Grand Ole Opry in Nashville.
