California Saga, a collective featuring the offspring of members of the Beach Boys, were the featured guests for a recent installment of the GRAMMY Museum’s An Evening With series. Before an intimate audience at the Museum’s Clive Davis Theater, California Saga discussed their early rehearsals and continuing the Beach Boys’ legacy. Additionally, California Saga performed several Beach Boys classics, including “California Girls,” which featured a guest appearance by the Beach Boys’ Mike Love. 
“There’s no other band that’s still together 50 years [later] where they’ve got kids that are musical,” said Matt Jardine, the son of the Beach Boys’ Al Jardine. “It was like, ‘Wow, we could do something new here.’”
