Now when people ask “What was your favorite concert?”, I can say The GRAMMYs.
Okay, cool, now we do it all again for the West Coast.
Album of the Year goes to Taylor Swift!
THAT WAS UNBELIEVABLE
Drake+Lil Wayne+Eminem just made the audience go absolutely nuts.
Pants on the ground. I kid Lil Wayne!
Really, where is the love?
Chillin’ with Andy Sandberg. Come find us in the men’s bathroom near section 109.
The President/CEO of The Recording Academy is coming up next. Please stop stealing music for the next 10 minutes, out of respect.
I’ll level with you guys. I saw Mary J. Blige and Andrea Bocelli run through their performance a couple times on Friday, and I could have sat there watching for hours. For days, really.
This is relevant because it’s coming right up.
Oh, there’s a kid!
Holy crap, I hope the telecast is on a long delay, cause somebody just had a HUGE wardrobe malfunction.
Oh wait, scratch that, it was ME. Carry on.
carlovely asked:
taylor swift looks really tall. is she?
She’s absolutely ginormous.
Fun tidbits from the official rundown
The imagery for the screens behind the last performance were listed as:
“Nothing or very dark”
“Sepia imagery of train station & the South”
“Tattoo art drawing”
One guy from ZZ Top is making his comeback. Yeah, sorry, when it comes to Zac Brown and Leon Russell, I got nothing.
I’d just like to point out that at least 1/3 of Green Day did not observe the dress code.
Have a tip, question, or comment for me as I Tumble from inside the GRAMMYs production office? Hit me up right here.
Newsflash: Slash is still alive.
The entire audience just palmfaced for a second before they saw Jamie Foxx.
Wait, Record of the Year already? That was fast.
Okay, if I take a bathroom break right now, who would be the best person to bump into in there?
Colbert!
That is all.
These are the Social Media Rockstars. They make sites like Twitter!
– How we’ve been introduced to pretty much everyone here
And why aren’t the Jonas Brothers performing, Recording Academy? We demand answers, not excuses.
I hope they sing My Humps.
I gotta feeling that tonight’s gonna have people dressed as speakers dancing around with the Black Eyed Peas.
ralph asked me:
Is the Keyboard Cat getting an award at the Grammy’s?
I’m not privy to that information, and even if I was I probably couldn’t tell you. But I CAN tell you that Best Comedy Album is coming up soon, which I’m quite looking forward to. Spinal Tap, Stephen Colbert, “Weird Al” Yankovic, Patton Oswalt, Kathy Griffin, and George Lopez!
